NWPAS 2025

Welcome to the first Wedontknow blog post! Northwest Pinball and Arcade Show was last weekend and it was an absolute blast. I didn’t manage to qualify for the classics and for the first time I was actually thankful for that. The queues for the games in the open were pretty long this year and I can’t imagine having time to qualify and compete in classics at the same time. I also volunteered to help score keep this year which made the whole event way more exhausting than normal. There were maybe three score keepers total and the absolute chaos really did help pass the time. I’ll apologize to any of the players that might have had to deal with me later in the evening when everything was starting to hurt real bad and my patience was wearing pretty thin. I’m going to give a huge shoutout to the Tournament Directors, game techs, and other volunteers: I thought I was tired and I’m sure they were doubly so. It was a great event and can’t wait for the next one.

I’ll keep this post short for now while I continue putting the site back together, but the weekend had some pretty good highlights on a personal level: a ridiculous 34 million point ball on Class of 1812, an epic ball on X Men, and a big comeback on Godzilla. It was all enough to make the finals where I took home 4th place! This last year has been a lot of work on my mental game and I think it’s actually paying off. The sheer amount of nervous energy since that big day at YEPIN 2024 seems to be more and more under control as time goes on.

Do you like this game? (Thanks Nick!)
